Recital is the end-of-year performance for all Yearly Program classes. Each class performs a dance they’ve learned during the year. Dress Rehearsal is the only additional rehearsal required outside of regular classes.
Recital is strongly encouraged, but no student is forced to perform. Contact us if you have questions or concerns about your dancer participating.
Recital Fee: Due October 15.
Costume Fee: Due November 15. Covers rental of costumes and accessories.
Payments can be made via Visa/MasterCard, e-transfer, or cheque.
Fees are non-refundable, even if a student decides not to perform.
Costumes are rented and must be returned immediately after the last recital performance.
Students provide their own shoes, tights, and recital underwear.
Specific requirements for each class are listed in the Parent Portal under the costume info tab.
Tickets go on sale May 2 online.
Children under 3 do not require a ticket unless occupying a seat.
Tickets are General Admission - first come first seated on show day.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Limited tickets may be available at the theatre on show day at a higher price.
Please notify us at least 48 hours before show time so we can reserve appropriate seating.
Students in our Shooting Stars (Yearly) Program and Constellation (Competitive) Program perform in all 3 shows.
Students in our Little Legends (Preschool) Program participate in 2 of our 3 shows. All preschool students will be performing in the June 14 Matinee show. Classes will be split between the remaining 2 shows.
The specific show order will be posted on the studio website and in the studio by the end of May.
We ask that dancers remain backstage for the duration of the show. We will have a live stream of the show in the backstage greenroom for dancers to watch the performance live.
For the safety of our dancers and to comply with copyright laws, personal photography and videography are strictly prohibited during both Photo Day and Recital. Only our professional photographer is permitted to take pictures.
